On the28th July, 2016, CAHG’s investment in the New Zealand dairy sector has been unveiled by the local media, including the New Zealand Herald, Otago Daily Times, Southland Times etc. CAHG will have a significant investment in Mataura Valley Milk Limited (MVM), in Gore, based in New Zealand's Southland province. MVM is constructing a milk powder manufacturing plant to produce high-end added value milk products. CAHG will have a majority stake in Mataura Valley Milk Limited, which was established in 2008.
This investment is part of CAHG’s larger vision and strategic plan to lead China’s animal husbandry industry and to provide the public with healthy animal related products. Many of these products will be canned and distributed by BODCO, a Hamilton based dairy business with a world class pharmaceutical-grade blending and packaging facility.
